How to Place an Order
CATERING POLICIES
MENU PRICING &
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Menu pricing includes compostable products and house linen
for tables requiring food and beverage. Additional charges apply for delivery,
pick-up, service staff and requested upgrades such as china, flatware,
glassware, or flowers. The minimum order for menu package is 20 guests or must exceed $300.00.
Weekend minimums must meet or exceed $4000 for a single delivery and set-up
(prior to handling, taxes, and labor). Additional labor rates will apply based
on the kitchen and service needs of the event. Holiday minimums and labor
charges are subject to change.
After hours and weekend functions are available with an
additional labor charge.
RENTALS:
Requested rental upgrades such as china, flatware and/or
glassware will be provided by Bon Appétit Catering based on a quote supplied by
our preferred 3rd party vendor.
ADDITIONAL
FEES:
A handling fee of 10% will be added to all events held
within the Graduate School of Business (GSB). Campus wide events held outside
the GSB or off the Stanford main campus will be assessed an 18% handling fee.

Additional labor rates will be assessed based on the service needs of the
specific event.
SERVICE
STAFF:
Servers, onsite kitchen staff, and/or bartenders may be required
for events based on the service levels required. The standard rate is $50 per
hour. Rates begin 2.5 hours prior to start time and conclude no less than 1
hour past event end time. Service staff requirements will be made at the
discretion of Bon Appetit Catering.
EQUIPMENT:
Banquet equipment for buffet and beverage station are at Bon
Appetit management discretion. Requests
for additional beverage or buffet stations are subject to additional equipment charges.
CONFIRMATION PROCESS & CANCELLATIONS:
Event
confirmation must be provided no less than 5 business days prior to the date of
the event. Changes to menu selections within 5 business days of the event date
will be subject to seasonal availability and at the discretion of our Executive
Chef. Guaranteed headcount must be finalized 5 business days prior to the event
date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event are subject to fees up to
50% of the initial total estimated food and beverage charges. Outside vendor
services i.e. rental items, linen, china or labor, are all guaranteed 5
business days out. Cancellations after the 5-business day deadline could be
subject to fees up to 100% of the initial total estimated cost.
Due to
supply chain issues with our vendors, any request for service without a minimum
of 5-day notice, will be subject to a 10% Expedited Service charge.
